Today, I take immense pride in being the owner of Purple Light Touch Foundation, PLT Massage and Wellness, and The Don’t Believe the Hype Show. My journey through abuse, trauma, and pain has been instrumental in shaping the resilient and beautiful woman I have become. We all possess inner strength, and when we place unwavering trust in God, He guides us toward deliverance.
Purple Light Touch Foundation
Purple light touch foundation offers massage therapy and has proven to be a valuable tool for trauma victims. Over the years, many of the women I have worked with have shared their deepest thoughts and feelings during massage sessions. They frequently express concerns about being overheard while shedding tears, which can make them feel even more exposed and vulnerable, particularly in a mixed-gender setting.
Recognizing the profound therapeutic benefits of sharing one’s thoughts and emotions with another person, I came to understand the necessity for a dedicated haven where women and young girls could unburden themselves, release their pent-up pain, and shed tears without inhibition. This revelation served as the cornerstone for the establishment of the Purple Light Touch Foundation, a cause very dear to my heart.
Other Services
In addition to therapy, our organization provides valuable life skills training, including computer literacy, entrepreneurship guidance, T-shirt design, mentorship, and various other essential life skills. What sets our offerings apart is their accessibility; all our services are provided free of charge. There is no other massage facility that extends such support in our community.
Despite encountering skepticism and even ridicule when I first embarked on this journey, the Purple Light Touch Foundation has now thrived for over eight years. We are currently seeking the support of generous donors and sponsors who share our vision and wish to contribute to this extraordinary healing ministry. Our Mission
At PLT Massage & Wellness, each massage we provide contributes to the noble cause of the Purple Light Touch Foundation. Our mission is to empower and educate women and girls in alternative healing methods, offering a secure environment for them to rebuild their lives following traumatic experiences and break free from the cycle of violence and exploitation. Our unwavering belief is in enhancing the well-being and care of the individuals we support. Every massage we deliver is a direct investment in paying it forward, as we rely on our earnings to advance our mission in the absence of substantial donor support. We dedicate all our tips to furthering this important work.
The Don’t Believe the Hype Show explores the unfiltered realities of human existence in the real world. It provides a welcoming platform for sharing your dreams and experiences, offering a non-judgmental space for the community and survivors.
